Time is Fiction
Nature transcends time
I’m not often keen on using trending songs in videos, unless it’s out of laziness, but I found something particularly moving about this one. Something in the musical arrangement transported me into a nostalgic, reflective mood.
As this year wraps up, I feel overwhelmingly grateful for nature and the impact it continues to have on my life. It is healing, awe-inspiring, and grounding. It feels more important than ever in times like these, when people are so disconnected and unfeeling, and when all that seems to surround us is chaos, destruction, and burning hatred.
In moments when we feel deep in despair, no matter what hurdles life throws at us, nature continues its quiet battle for survival while offering us endless treasures in the often overlooked small and simple moments. Nature constantly reassures me that time is imaginary, that I have a safe space, a place to recharge, a place to recover, a place to connect, a place to feel uninhibited, and above all else, a place where nothing besides being present matters.
